Default brake lines need help

i own a 92 cx hb iam doing a brake job and decided to put new brakes pads and some steel lines. brake pads went on fine now the brake lines are giving me issues. iam starting on the front driver side line, i took of the clip taht holds the lines but i cant unscrew the top part of the line. i used a 10mm wrench and it didnt do much, the car was owned by some kid and he said he let the guys at his local shop do his brake changes and what not and now i think the bolt might be stripped..... how can i get the mOTHer F*&kr off? should i try a 9mm open wrench and see if that works? any help would be appreciated cause i need to get this **** done asap or i cant drive

You should really be using flared wrenches when you work on brake lines because the fittings strip easily. If yours are already stripped then just take a vice grip to it. Make sure you hold a wrench to the bottom part of the where the lines connect to brace it while you turn the vice.

its easier to take off while the clip is on otherwise you will twist the metal lines
