Alright, I wanna know how long you guys have had your clutch running in your car? I've had a HD 6-puck in for about 4 months now and it grabs basically like a stock clutch now. Mechanic says that those clutches are meant for strip and not meant for daily driving usage.

I don't buy that, I don't think that a Heavy Duty clutch is going to get worn out by regular driving, especially when I push it not more than 4-5 times a week.
I also got that loose screw sound in my tranny when it idles, and that screeching noise when i let off the clutch to move the car.

I've used the search feature and already read about these problems but would like to know if anyone has had their ACT clutch wear out just by daily driving, and how long you've had it. Any drastic performance issues since you've purchased it?

 

I too run an HD 6 puck from ACT and I also have the noisy transmission problem when I'm in neutral just idling. I'd like to know about wear issues as well, the noise has me worried.
