Hi, I have a 96 civic dx/cx hb. I am swapping my y7 engine w/ a y8 engine. Just so u know, I am rocking a z6 tranny. My questions are:
1) If I cant find a y8 engine wire harness, what extra wires do I need to add in order for the vtec to operate properly? (pics would help) Is this a ghetto way of doing the swap?

2) Are y7 axles the same as y8 axles?

Can't remember the wiring, but the axles fit. Did the same swap in my 99 hatch.
