Default anyone try carbs on a ls

like the topic says trying to find out if anyone has tried carbs on a all motor ls had the idea but don't know if it will work that well.

what would be the benefit to run carbs over like ITBS on an ALL motor setup. Like Bizi doesnt he run carbs?

last time i looked (this months scc) bisi is running an f22 and i dont belive it was carbed. 341whp.

Unless you run the injectors further outboad, where they are supposed to be. Itb's have less internal flow restrictions than carbs. Theirfore size to size they flow more air.

when you say better fuel atomization this would explain why bisi runs them, if in fact he does because i know for a fact his motor runs 17:1 compression and even the highest octane fuel will hardly even atomize at the high of a CR. but doesnt he run methanol or something like that?

I still run gasoline: Rocket brand 118, to be exact. Carbs do offer 2 appealing advantages; excellent atomization and cooling effects (joule-thompson).

The question was " do carbs work" not are they better than ITB's, Stock, Plenums, 2 1200 Holley's, or a Turbo. The answer is YES. And some people make them work better than others. If you got them, run them. There are a few people on here that can give you a base set-up.
