my right rear tail light on my 01 se is out, i have tried replacing the bulb twice now and it still does not work, obviously it cannot just be that every bulb i buy is defective. So my question is what could the problem be? and also would my warranty cover this problem, i bought extended warranty so im pretty sure it will not cover problems such as this one.

 

Could be a wiring problem.

Warranty should cover it. The taillight is a safety issue. Just stress that part out when you call/talk to the people at the dealer.

 

im not sure if the rear tailight uses sockets in it, but if it does, try removing a socket from the other side and putting it to the one that is burnt, see if that helps
