Not sure where they plug into, but most likely the one is for the clutch engagement requirement for the starter, and the other is for the cruise control disengagement when the clutch is depressed.

Don't mean to steal your thread, but since you already have the picture up

What is the spring on the clutch for? I replaced my master and can't get it back on, is it something I need or can I go with a .00001lb weight reduction

The spring is for the clutch to rebound when you depress it. If you take the spring out...the clutch will be pressed the whole time...and i dont think you want that

can anyone with a 5th gen please take a pic of their clutch area? I need to find out where the harnesses for the switches are located?

i'm pretty sure that one of those switches is the safety switch for having to push in the clutch to crank the car. If you unplug it, you wouldnt have to push in the clutch to start it.

Thanks guys/gals
9= clutch switch and 7= clutch interlock switch

9 or the cluch switch hooks to the immobilizer unit plug

what it do? when the clutch pedal is pressed it interrupt the starter cut relay and allow the ignition signal to get to the starter and start the car. the wire it hooks on are the gray wire (do not cut any wire just add a new wire to the circuit). the gray is the positive and the black/gray lines is the negative.

7 or the interlock switch hooks to the cruise control plug

what it do? it interrupt or take the car out off the cruise control when the cluch pedal is pressed, same as the brake do. it hooks to the pink wire of the plug and the black/gray line wire fom the immobilizer plug.

hope that help

no problem, I will later do a write-up on an auto to manual swap.
