Why do people want a 300_+ hp Ef ?
Or any civic with that kinda power? defeats the purpose of the car IMO
200 whp in any Ef chassis would be tons of fun and not cause you to spin thur 3rd

What do you mean defeats the purpose of the car? I think once you've done any kind of mod to a Civic/CRX it defeats the purpose of that car.
Before I wanted an NA built B18C CRX so I would be competative with other swapped cars or other lightly modded cars. Pretty soon with my turbo'd B18C CRX I'll be competing with WRX's, S2K's, EVO's, STI's, RX-7's, Supras, Vettes, and Camaros.
200 WHP in an EF is only good for about mid 13's. 300 WHP in that same EF is good for around mid 12's. 400 WHP is good for mid to high 11's, and you get the point. Light weight car plus high HP = fast car that will make you shat your pants.

I read about a fully worked Civic Hatch with a K20A, it was 455 HP and had EVERYTHING. They said the car had so much power that it couldn't even keep traction, and that it was a waste of time for any practical purpose (Racing, Driving, etc...).

If somone wants 300+ hp in a ef or any honda let them be. You are happy with 200 and thats good too. Some people like myself always want more

Imo my 250 horses aint ****. Looking for 300+ soon. 200 isnt enough these days but i race so i guess thats different. I love whooping on evos, talons, sti's, especiall y those camaros

Too me the beauty of fixing up a honda.....is like taking a hobo and giving him life he could have only stumbled upon in a dream. it's like all the big domestic guys shout...LITERS...HP.....and they laugh at us with less then 2.2L. I say the only way we have to shut them up is to take a fat honda/acura **** on their car. Give us a Stock 5.0L and i'll show him what's worth. Give us a 5.6L Pontiac and we'll give hima run for his money....Even a 6.6L Transam with all sorts of gadgets.....We as honda owners know no limits....Everyone in the automotive world has to bow down to the honda at least repect it b/c they know we are the fore-runners in modifications and fine-tunning. So why did i do it...to make people laugh and then cry....the best is taking down a Mustang that's all tricked out.....expecially when his buddies....or a gf/wife is in the car. B/c they feel like ***.....they brought it down upon themselves. Why go 300whp.....b/c we can goddamnit....and i don't know anyone but a Honda/acura lover who would go to such lengths to create such awesome beasts.....except maybe a chevy 350 in an old MG or Triumph.....but they are british wind up cars. Anyway i'm done.....Point is: "Why 300whp?!" "b/c we can and we are good at it"
i love my 140hp civic,and thats all that matters.
however i did ride in a 417hp b20 turbo civic pushing 22lbs of boosts and that thing was freeking insane fast. 4th gear wheel spin @ 90mph.

I dont feel like i need to prove my cars worth to anyone else so i guess thats why I see things this way. How ever i do enjoy being able to cut up a twisty road better that most other cars
