Hey guys help me out here. I need about 300$ worth of brake rebuilding on my back two calipers. He told me because of my heavy use that I messed up the pistons and crystalized the pads. So he says I need a rebuild. Not good with all the details.

1. Is it alright to drive around with the back calipers off for a while?
2. Who makes descent calipers for 93vtecs?

NO!!!

Stock ones.. Really, I would tell your machinic to shove it.. Just replace the pads, rear calipers seldom go out.. If they are not leaking fluid, and are not sticking, there is really no reason to rebuild them.. 300$ is bullpoo poo, I can get new pads for 10$ and some used calipers for 50$..

Hell yeah I would want Nsx but my pockets aren't that deep
