Default H22 probs

i got my H22A into my 95 accord lx. everything works great. the problem is that the car feels like something is binding. (exa the axles) but i cant tell where its coming from. I used the H22 tranny W/lsd using my stock accord axles, and half shaft. thanks for any help

shifts perfect. i can be rolling at say 50mph and just drop the hammer and it has absolutely no acceleration. vtec fires and all, but i cant feel it. its got the p13 ecu, added the vtec wires both, and knock sensor.

your axle set-up should be fine. You have to be more specific about "binding"

well im not exactly sure on how to explain it to you. I can be at a steady roll going just fine, and lay into the throttle and the car has absolutely no acceleration what so ever. i can hear vtec fire. when i shift gears for the first split second in the new gear it gos just fine then bogs back down. thats about the best i can explain it to someone.

hey jdm, i want to put the h22a in my 1995 accord also. if you can email me or get back to me in this board about how to go with that, that'd be awesome. like how much it cost you, what you bought n what not. i havent been able to talk to someone who did the swap yet. thanks!

My understanding is that you don't feel the throtle response right? Have you looking into your distributor wiring, your sparks, see if the a/f ratio is right? And also, check you injectors and the TB area as well. These are what I can think of. Other than that, might as well do a leak test.

Let us know what happened.

maybe it's your vtec selonoid. hold a test light up to it and rev it to 5000 and see if it lights up. i heard this works.
