Default Welding cylinder head

I have a damaged B16 Head wich is professionally ported and done. To repair it, it must be welded the combustion chambers (valves hit the pistons). My question is after the repair is done, will be the same as before? can it handle the beating of high RPM's again?

Aluminum is aluminum. The question should be is it worth it. Probably not, the costs of welding up the chambers and having them ground down would cost just as much as a port and polish. A set of used heads can't be too expensive.

around here a B16 head cost about $550. GS-R $600, I can't afford that much.

not worth it, I doubt you could get it done right for cheaper than buying a new head and p&ping it.

If its done improperly it can cause warping, valve seats can end up shifting over time, etc, etc
