(Too busy working full time at toyota- just so you know)

Johnston toyota in middletown.

yah the daily driver is now the 99 accord.

watch the 2nd video sounds and looks like your exhaust is vomiting. I don't know what means for your car but fix it....hehehe......
**** maybe the ignition mentioned earlier but my guess sounds like a leak somewhere....in the exhaust....causing the popping

i think there is a leak up on the downpipe where the 4 goes to 2.
how would that cause the popping?

that might be it....if that gasget isn't on right...the sound and the fumes coming out would be all fucked up. Check it out....get under the car and have someone touch the gas and try and feel if any air is coming out.....and it seems like that might be it...b/c the POPCORn_bang noise happens when the throttle is cutting out.
check for the leaks....the gasget might not be on...or even have one on the flange anymore.

mine was making that noise before too, i had a leak where the downpipe connects to the cat, check that area.
