Default Removing piston from rods???

Is there any way to remove a piston from a rod without taking it to a machine shop?

You can try to somehow hold the piston and have it stable and then use something small that will push out the wrist pin.

Try using a vice somehow...I'm sure it's possible to do with some mind put in

heat it up, pop it out.

the rod that is.

i dont suggest it, but you can do it.

why not just pay the $40

FYI this guy is looking for information on how to remove a JE piston from an EAGLE rod.

ive always been told to leave it to a machine shop..you can easily do more harm than good

i dont know how to do aftermarket, but i believe it is easier than OEM.
