Default Damage from my wreck - Best course of action?

Had an anxiety attack. Ran off the road. Flipped on my side and slid into a creek.

I circled in the red. the damage. Most of it is just Dents and scrathes. The hood is smashed now and the ****** Wrecker people put a dent in my drivers side door.

Also, my exhaust is ripped on the bottom ( it sucked anyway ) .. and some other **** under my car is ripped up.

What would be cheaper. Hitting up the junk yard for 2 doors. A hood. and then buying two new front fenders.

or a body shop to repair it all?

And yes. I spelled scratch wrong

well first of all be happy your not hurt......on the other hand i would just piece it back together and throw some primer on unless you can find parts of the same color....oh yeah that color is hot .good luck on whatever your choice is

I would do the body work for you on the side for a pretty good price so I suggest you find a body guy to do it on the side(pretty much everyone will) otherwise it might be cheaper to find better condition parts.

I would advise replacing the hood and fender cause they would take too long to fix.

You could:
a. Make friends with some body shop guys,
b. Learn to do it yourself, or
c. Go JDM and replace all those parts anyway.

Its def. going to be cheaper piecing together the body parts yourself but if theres extensive body damage that you cant repair then you have no choice but to go to a bodyshop. Good luck

If you have to go to a body shop, it would probably be more cost effective to just buy another car. You can find a Civic such as this one for less than $1000. And it does not take much to rack up more than this in repairs at a body shop.

I did some searching. I'm just gonna get the body kit I want. It was $300~ and I can get the fenders for $50~. Im gonna get a hood from the junk yard and just get the damage on the doors repaired. I'll do most of the work on um.

I'll post back once I have done this.

Dude, you need to look into Clanazapam, or Xanax... Luckly you're safe, but next time you or someone else on the road may not be so lucky. I say take it to some body shops, and see what they'll fix it for, and sorce some scrap yard parts and factor in paint. See which will be cheaper. If the body shop tells you you will need bondo, stop the conversation right there and leave...
