Difference between JDM and USDM fogs. Write up.
Well here it goes.
Well let’s start with the actual lenses. As you will see below the USDM ones are flat while the JDM one have an angle in them. The actual housing behind the lens is the same (or so it seems).

Next the mounting brackets on the casing. The USDM one stays horizontal while the JDM one is installed vertical.

The brackets that connect between the casing bracket and bumper/body. The USDM one is basically a rectangle that is bent to allow for it to bolt up behind the bumper support. The JDM one is an L piece that bolts t to the frame of the car.

The one for the 90-91 Civic:

Now how do you install JDM fogs onto your USDM car so it looks like this?

Simple. You need 2 pieces. A USDM fog light casing bracket and the rectangular bracket that bolts to the bumper support. Plain and simple.
1 of these:

and 1 of these:

The other thing you will find is that the plug on the USDM fog vs the JDM fog are different. What do you do if you have OEM USDM wiring? Get the plugs off USDM fogs and switch them over to your JDM fogs.
[ I may have found another way... the plugs on the USDM ones are the same plugs as the ones used on the horns so if you can find an extra set you may be able to convert the JDM fogs to USDM with these wires. I'll post tomorrow after I investigate.

Also jdm civic mounting brackets wont work when trying to mount the fog onto a crx.
If anyone wants to trade some jdm cr-x mounting brackets for some jdm ciivc mounting brackets let me know cause I have some civic ones but need some cr-x ones.
