Default Mini me tuning

I am just getting my mini up and going... I have a couple of tuning questions... If the cam mark will not line up with the crank marks, do I have to get a new adj. cam pully? It always seems to be a half tooth off. Some searches say no big deal, but I am not sure...

And fuel pressure... Does the ECU assume a given fuel pressure, and moderate injector's inject time based on this? From this, should I assume if I use a D16Z6 fuel map, I need to have the fuel pressure at Z6, not A6 levels? (Z6 FPR)

Also, I want to chip my PM6, hopefully with Z6 maps and vtec output. Who can do this?

Thats is what I have read to. Sounds like you get ~10psi more with the Z6 FPR.

With the A6 FPR I will be running lean?

If I am still running a stock pm6 ECU, should I switch FPR to Z6?

If I get Z6 maps chipped in, then I would need to switch for sure to Z6 FPR?

And where is a good place to get a FPR?

Thanks!

Thanks!

What bottom end did you use? If it's a 1.5L bottom, then you will need an adjustable cam gear if you don't want to have your timing half a tooth off.

I've got the A6 1.6L bottom end. It looks like the timing is a half tooth off. I got the head resurfaced, maybe that did it?

Quite possibly, depends how much you shaved off the head.
