Default Ground Control pics

Hey guys, I just got my ground control coilovers and I wanted to show you guys just to make sure I have everything. I wanted to see if I have the sleeve part which makes it compatible with the KONIs, I ordered them specifically with the KONIs however I just want to make 100% sure. Thanks

The box is checked off as an 98 accord, I'm guessing this is alright since 98-02 accords are all the same, correct?

they ARE kinda blurry. i think its 450/300.

just more proof that ground control kits will actually provide different spring rates for different cars, default.

unlike OmTHER2 companies that provide the same 2 damn springs for every car...

The box has 98 Accord marked off on it since 98-02 are all 6th gens does it matter that it says 98 Accord and that I have an 01? The other choices are 90-97 Accord and some TL years, so I'm guessing it's alright since 90-97 are all 5th gen accords, correct? When I ordered I was given a choice of street, autox/street, and full out race. I picked street since my area is rather bumpy on some roads and it would just cause my ride to be unpleasant.

I'm so paranoid that I don't have the right parts for the KONIs/GC coilovers to be compatible. I looked at the box once again and it was 98-02 , so that's alright. I bought the KONIs/GCs from shox.com and I got the package so they were compatible but I just want to make sure I have the parts for them to be, does anyone have the pictures of the stuff to make them both compatible? thanks

Mine came with bumpstops...on the directions it'll tell you to cut them to a certain size depending on if you have konis or gcs. I believe it just keeps them from bottoming out.

well my point is I don't have them, what did you get them with? The GC's or KONI's, do I absolutely need them?

I guess I should just cut the stock bump stops in half it says, I'm trying to find the clip that keeps the GC's in place towards the bottom of the KONI's, however I think it may be built in...hmmm

there should be a black ring thing on the bottom of your gc sleeves..can't really tell from the pics but just check if you have them

the koni shocks will have the circlip that the black ring thing rests on

not sure if either company is supposed to provide you with new bumpstops but you can just use your old ones

if 98-02 are all 6th gen accords then you're fine

Ya...I forgot...mine also came with different sized black o-rings that you put on the struts and slide the sleaves over them to hold the sleave in place. I had agxs so I don't have a clue about the konis.

No that is not the ring. The ring should pressed inside the threaded metal sleeves. I can see on the side view in your pic that they are their, and they have the proper groove to acept the circlip.

As for bumpstops, I've never seen any shocks or GC springs come with them ever...

No worries mate, your good to go... (be brave)...

Seriously. I put my suspension in yesterday and it only took 2.5 hours with basic hand tools (no air).
