90' civic brakes
ok i replaced my passenger axle yesterday finished that. then i decided my brakes are worn so let me change this side. i took out the pads and know i ant figure how to put the new ones in. theres this littlr metal circle thing that push's tha pads. and it poped out of the rubber sleeve and brake fluid went every were. what do i do please help. i had to walk to work today
that little round metal thing is your piston. you need to push that back in. in order to do that, take the cap off your break fluid res. and get a "c" clamp. that will allow you to push the piston back in. after you have done all of this, you will have to bleed the breaks. make sure you buy some break lubricant also to put on the pads. good luck, and if you need anymore help, just pm me.

The brake fluid Resovoir is the little container on top of your Master Cylinder that stores your brake fluid. I would really recomend getting yourself a helms manual to follow before you do anymore work on the car.
