okay, i had a crx before until july 2001. i wrecked it and got the hatch i have now and put a b16 in it. i have an offer to trade for a crx si just like the one i used to have, but i just want to figure out some $ numbers first. what i am going to do is put a d16z6 in the hatch and then make a even trade. so i will still have my motor. but i will need a tranny. the question is on the prices for a few parts i will need for the swap in the crx.

a. tranny w/LSD
b. tranny w/o LSD
c. HASport mount kit
d. CRX SIR ECU
e. Shift Linkage
f. and a plug and play wiring harness

Thanks in advance for any help, i am just trying to see how much it is going to cost me to do this. one good thing is that i will have my hydraulic trans to sell so that should give me a little money to get these parts.

c.) hcp comes with shift linkage, $450
d.) gotta go p28 and have an ob0-obd1 jumper - $400 for both

 

wow... if you can find prices for a tranny that cheap you've got one hell of a hook up. i've had no luck finding a tranny in good shape for less than $600, without an LSD. of course i've only been looking for a ys1 which are not as easy to find as others.

 

if that is the case couldn't i just use my p30 then. maybe not, but just wondering.
