question on h22 tranny serial

question on h22 tranny serial

I bought a h22a and i dont know which tranny it's running
serial code starts with m2j4. I think it's from an accord, but 100% sure
Can someone clarify this

its a F series motor though ... not a H series.

and signle cam F series at that! plus tha tinfo on the gearing looks to be wrong as well. that is the first time i have seen a sohc F series tranny have a shorter final drive than ANY H series tranny. The only time i ahve seen an F series tranny get the 4.266 final drive is in teh 96-97 accord wagon and 97 acura cl, and i have NEVER seen an h22/23 tranny NOT get the 4.266.
