H23 tranny swap on a 5th Gen
Do you know where I could get a Helms Manual? i tried ebay but its just a cd.. plus its not buy it now.. and WILL a full h23 manual swap work and will fit on my 5th gen?

I bought my honda service manual from eBay for a dollar on cd. PDF scans are the very same as reading the actual book.. i have no complaints aside from the occasional crooked page and pdf page numbers not matching scanned page numbers.
Point is, info is all there for a couple bucks

Yes, it will fit since you have a Base Prelude.
The gearing of the H23 tranny is only slightly longer than the 5th Gen H22 tranny too.

right now i'm using the auto ecu until i get my manual ecu reprogram. i want to try to jump the resistor on the auto ecu to make it manual but i cannot take the chance right now.

You can use my writeup to convert your auto ECU to manual, or you can simply switch the immobilizer boards. If your manual ECU is not the same year as your car, you might run into problems. There were changes made every year on the 5th gen Preludes.
