i cant take it off. i cant get that plastic piece that covers it off, i tried to use a flathead, but it would just bend and make white marks in the plastic. the plastic almost rips.

any suggestions?

btw im trying to tighten my rear view mirror, it keeps dropping lower and lower because i have subs.

 

try sliding them off? i dont think tightening that part will help you with the mirror drooping..

 

i searched and it says that there should be an allen bolt where u can tighten so the mirror doesnt fall.

ill figure it out,

but anyway i cant get that damn plastic thing off

 

Hey Sy, if i remmeber correctly your car is 96-00 model right?

My Helms says you need to remove that cover then pop out 3 small screws and it should come right out. Did you do that?

For the plastic piece your suppose to take a small flat head to it.
