Default Which ECU to get?

My p72 wont work with my skunk2 intake manifold , gg butterfly vtec. So im lookin for a replacement.

So far my offer was a straight swap for p06 chipped for my p72. I need to know if this is a good chip or if i should wait and hope to find either a p28 chipped or a p30 , would like to know which would be better.

I plan to get roughly 200whp out of my b18c1, if i dont get it , i dont care but ill be pushin to get around that mark , if that makes any difference?

/bump , ive read some past post , but ive been gettin up and down opinions, need to know if its worth it or not. Like is it the same as a chipped p28 or no? and i take it , its utterly pointless to chip mine?

i personally would wait till you can get a hold of a p28. thats what i did before i slap on my blox im on my gsr and believe its worth not having the headache plus you get optimal results of performance.

Once you start chipping the ecu, they are all really the same thing with minor hardware differences. A little work with a soldering iron can turn a P06 into a P28, P30 or P72, whatever you want. Don't stress out too much about which one is "best".

thx that was the info i kinda wanted to know.

If it was worth chippin my p72 or just get his p06 so the skunk2 intake manifold and other adds on will run fine to start.
