if you are converting from drum to disk, you will need a different e-brake cable, yes.
If you have a crx and want to convert from drum to disk, buy '90 to '91 CRX si ebrake cables
If you have a civic hatchback, buy the '92 Integra GSR ebrake cables if you want discs in the hatchback.

i have disk brakes but my ebrake doesn't work and i have a dx parts car with a working e brake and want to know if it would fit

A drum ebrake will not fit onto a disc ebrake. You will need to find a different ebrake cable, preferably one form a disk'ed car.

i used 95 abs discs from a teg and every thing bolted up. i have done two of these swaps. be sure to use the teg port valve and it helps to use a ef ex master cyl aswell. not to be an *** but do a search cuz lots has been written about this.
