accelleration problem!
I have an 88 CRX with fresh engine swap, but still has old intake and ecu, etc. Had the problem before the old motor blew though too. When I go to floor it, it'll basically fall on it's face. I can get the car to reach it's major torque band of about 3.5-4 RPM's, but up until that point I have to very slowing give it more gas as it reaches that point, but when it hits 3 grand I can floor it. I've been told possibly a new ECU and possibly new Throttle Body. another problem leading me to just getting a new ECU is that after the power band, it loses power at about 4 grand and just doesn't pull anymore, but will still rev upto 6grand. let me know what you all think, and Thanks!
UPDATE: There is brand new Distributor Cap and Rotor, new spark plugs, recently adjusted with Timing Light, new Fuel Filter. And yet this problem still occurs.

Most likely. Usually these stuff make problem at only certain rpms and wut not...

Check your rotor in the dizzy.
Mine was doing near the same thing and I changed out a few parts before pulling the cap off. I was surprised to find that the screw holding the rotor on some how came out and the rotor was really loose.
Luckly the screw was just sitting right there in the dizzy. I just screwed it back in and it fixed everything for me.
