could i do a mini me / delsol sohc vtec?? what would i need i have a dx i know i have to change it to mpfi

it doesnt matter what car it comes from, so theres no sense in listing that.

if you want to use a Z6 or Y8 head on your current d15 block it can be done. you need MPFI and it would be best to run the ecu that belongs with the head, but there are cheapos out there that say you can run vtec with a switch, its not something id risk and engine on, but hey, different strokes for different folks.

also the dx tranny isnt the greatest gearing, an si tranny would make the car faster with the mini-me.

theres really no need for a new thread about this:

I agree with you 100%. Also to add on, the del sol came with a d16z6 engine, which would mean a z6 head on the d15 block. Convert to mpfi, then to obd-1 while using the Z6 head, also use the P28 ecu. Like mentioned about, search is a god send.
