How to set shocks on my 3G TL?
i just got some Illumina shocks for my 2004 TL and i have a set of Eibach 4044.140 springs (http://www.acuraworld.com/foru...57845)
question i have is, since this is a fwd driveline how do i set the stiffness on the shocks? it's not a auto-x car, i'm kinda after a nice smooth ride.
typically on a rwd car i would set the fronts a tad stiffer than the rears. but i'm not 100% with setting the shocks on a fwd car.
the Tokico sheet says the by stiffening the front more will also increase understeer. is this true for rwd as well as fwd cars ??
these shocks have 1-5 adjusting, so should i start out with front-3 rear-2 ??
i just dunno, this car is also front heavy (no driveline parts in the rear), so maybe i want front-3 rear-1 ??
anyone ??
thanks
