im assuming since a b20 is a b series i can use a b16 aftermarket flywheel and clutch correct?

where will i be compression wise with a stock b20 shortblock mated to a built p30 b16 head with flat faced valves?

Not very high. Plus if you use anything bigger than the stock B16 cams you may want to worry about valve clearance issues.

 

hmmm...i just found a thread created by sparkracing.com and they sell block packages prebuilt..i was looking at the #2 N/A package..ls block with 11.5:1 cr arias pistons and all new everything else assembled for $1500.00..would this be a better route?..is sparkracing.com any good..is there somewhere else i can go thats reliable to buy a similar package for about the same price or cheaper?..im looking to spend about 1000-1500 on a block for either ls/vtec or b20/vtec..thanks

edit:..heres the link i was looking at...all sleeves are done by rs machines..im looking at package #2 N/A...any thoughts about the package or sparkracing.com?..are they reliable people to deal with?..i would honestly rather buy a block thats assembled rather than try and build one...thanks again
