Default My EK Project..

Pictures Update 6/11 - Page 2!

My Car is about to go through a few changes.. mainly a new powerplant, and it's also being changed to a manual.

Just thought i'd share with you guys all the stuff that i'm doing to it, and i'll probably do a nice walkthrough for the auto/manual swap.

Here's my car as it sits today:

My Rear Disc brake upgrade.. used 96 GSR Rear brakes with Earls steel brake lines, and 99-00 SI Brake MC (7/8th), and brake booster.

Omni-power sport full coilovers, SRR Lower control arms, and Cusco rear lower tie bar, Also have a Cusco rear sway bar. (Not pictured)

Momo tuner steering wheel with a NRG quick release, SI Cluster, SI Climate control.

Ordered my Complete LS Change over swap from Hmotorsonline.com about a week ago.. so i should be seeing that soon.

Here are some parts going into that once i get it..

Crower turbo cams, Crower titanium springs/retainers, ACL full race bearings, ARP Head studs and rod bolts, AEM adjustable cam gears, Exedy stage 2 racing clutch, and flywheel, Eagle rods.. Wiseco pistons on the way still..

Also in there are my manual swap parts (pedal assembly, clutch master cylinder..) also grabbed a bigger 1" Brake MC too, doing a hybrid brake setup in the front.. Prelude VTEC rotors with ITR Calipers.

I'll keep everyone updated on my progress, thanks for taking a look!

Not to sound like I'm hating but why would you even have bothered w/ buying an Auto in the first place? Just seems like it's a whole lot of hoops to jump through and ends up more expensive than if you would've just started w/ a 5-spd in the first place.

Got the car for a good deal, low miles.. and i can do all the mechanical work myself, so it's not all that expensive to do the swap.. the parts are only costing me like 200 bucks. (the auto to manual swap)
