Default K&N FIPK and AUT Cooling plate ? Yay or Nay ?

If i have a K&N FIPK would it be a waste of money to buy the AUT Cooling plate ? The one with the little thingy that directs air up into the stock airbox horn.

yeah i know there's another post about intakes, but none mention my question.

Just get the AUT Cooling plate and a K&N Drop In. You should get less heat soak and probably better performance. It gets hot as hell under the hood of these cars.
