Default how do I know how much the car is lowered on GC coilovers

We just put some Ground Control coilovers on my friends teg. And what I want to know is how do I know how much the car is lowered? In the advertisment for the coilovers it says .5 - 3.5 inch drop. Does that mean that the coilovers even at the highest setting lower the car half inch?

You should have done some measuring on the car before you lowered it. Oh well.
You can get measurements off another car if his was stock hight or close anyways.

If you start at the top, eight full rotations of the ring the spring sits on, is 1"...
