Default which rod to use between the two? P73 or P72?

if i am building an all-motor 95 gsr block with type r pistons,and a gsr crank,would i use type r P73 rods,or gsr P72 rods? any help is appreciated,thanks.

Either will be fine, if you already have the gsr rods use them, matching the color codes with the bearings will be easier. Type r rods are slightly stronger bit really not worth it. Goodluck with your build.

i dont have either rods yet,im just trying to make a descent n/a daily driver,with a good amount of power,not too much or too expensive.i am most likely going to just order a set of rods right from honda.i got a set of oversized P73 pistons (oem honda) from JHPusa.com,very good seller.

b4 you order rods from honda buy some aftermarket ones. would be close to same cost.

No they are used. Just buy some ARP rod bolts and you are good to go.

have the end caps for the rods ever been mixed up?also,if they are in good shape and condition,i will prob. buy them from you,just let me know.thanks.
