Default 3.2 honda passport engine

just recently had my fiances engine rebuilt in her honda passport, after installed only cylinders 1,3,5 were running, we immediately thought that the passenger side cam gear was out of time. after resetting the timing put back together and it still is doing this, we hooked it up to a computer and all we get is multiple cylinder misfire in cylinders 2,4,6. any help would be appreciated thanks

I'm not too familliar with the Isuzu motors, but if it has coil packs, is one bank defective or unplugged?

I'm assuming you did this yourself. The procedure for setting cam timing on the DOHC engines is very complicated and time consuming as the cams are basically spring loaded, if it is sohc its pretty basic, I can look in a OEM manual for the actual procedure but I don't remember it being that odd. which set up do you have and do you have an oem manual. By the way, hopefully you have figured out that it is not a honda.

im not too familiar with how the cams themselves are timed but we never removed them, i had the machine shop set the timing of the cam gears(not saying wether he is right or not but definitely knows more than i do)does this problem sound like a timing issue or could it be something else?
