Default How much did you pay total for your swap?

At the local shop, they said it would be around $5500 total including axles, ecu, motor, labor, harness, wiring, and motor mounts to put a B18C1 into a CRX. I was thinking about purchasing a clean CRX for $2000 and then swapping, but the swap price is really high. Do you think there are better prices out there? (with quality work)

Not all of us are mechanically inclined to rip our cars apart.

I would do it myself, but I don't have a garage.
I also don't have the "cherry picker" for the engine, but I could probably rent that for cheap.

Did my b16a swap in a friends garage for about 2000 including mounts and linkage. And I learned alot by doing it myself.
