can anyone confirm that the upper control arm / ball joint on other years are not welded on ???

I believe that the 90-91 are pressed in.

 

90-91 will have the right replaceable balljoints. get the balljoints from SPC's distributor, i forget the name. cant order them direct. but only place that sells the balljoint, cant get em from honda without the rest of the arm and bushings.

someone on this board swears theat his 89 civic had repalceable balljoints. but whatever. 90-91 for sure.
