I just recently purchased an F3 from a friend, when i got it there was a rattling which was presumed to be the cam chain tensioner since they are know for going bad. I ordered a new one but since i do not have any other means of trasportation i had to ride it to work. The new tensioner will be coming in soon but now the bike has lost power and is ticking alot louder. Is this normal or did the cam chain mess something up for the bike to loose power.

it's funny, people buy 05 cbr600rrs and we flame them for buying a bike that is too fast. when people buy the proper bike, we tell them we dont know anything

 

the cam chain ten. is notorious for going bad. i had a 96 f3 and i had to get a new one. just replace it and you will be fine
