Hey guys i was looking around on ebay just for the fun of it and found aftermarket final drives for sale. I found a guy selling 4.7 and 4.9's. My question if one of these final drives were to be put in a LS tranny (such as a 4.9) woudl it be a big difference in performance? Is the final drive the same dimensions between all B series trannnys? thanks guys

 

It would have to be a final drive intended for a B16 tranny, but it would be much more cost effective to just sell your tranny and buy one that already has better gearing.
