Default HELP! B20 Vtec Parts list NEEDED! SEARCHED!!! my FIRST motor!

Can you people help me, im building my first motor i got the money to buy all the ****... i jusy need a list of what i need... not like mounts, head, block....

More like, what kind of starter, water pump, timing belt, all that ****.... axles, dizzy, shift linkage, wire harness (can i make one from my stock dx wire harness?) i need A WHOLE LIST!!

imma do a b20 block (might swap pistons out for higher cr), b16 head (obd1), GSR tranny

help me... shoot me links... whataver you got... part numbers... everything!!!

WHAT I GOT SO FAR...

- Starter from a gsr, distributor from a 2000 civic ( depending on what year your car is and what obd your keeping )

- all obd2 oil pumps are the same whether it be ls/rs/gs/gsr or itr there all the same whoever the water pumps are not all the same you should run a gsr or itr water pump and use the gsr or itr timing belt the b18cs have a different number of teeth on the water pump

- you're gonna need a oil feed for vtec

- use your stock wiring harness. Add the extra wires you need and Pin the ecu. You will need to add these wires.
Vtec Pressure switch
Vtec Sen.
Knock Sensor
2 O2 sensor

Starter from a gsr, distributor from a 2000 civic ( depending on what year your car is and what obd your keeping )

Water pump, from a type R or gsr
Oil pump from a type R or gsr, ( keep the water pump and oil pump from the same vehicle )

And I'm pretty sure a type R or gsr timing belt will work, depending on what you choose up above.

What year is your car ?

Also I'm pretty sure you could use the pump gear but don't quote me on that.

You guys do know the search option will answer all these questions right.

But I'm reading that all obd2 oil and water pumps are the same, from the b20, itr, and gsr and b16. But thats only what I'm hearing.

So run an obd2 to obd1 conversion harness, what year is your car though ? If its obd2 car, the obd2 head will be fine.

Ok so do what I said above.

Run the obd1 ecu, run a conversion harness and if any sensors need to be added, add them
