Default heeellllpppppppppp to all ecu experts!!!!!!!!!!!

ok this is the deal i got a 94 ex coupe, the computer i got i a p28 but for automatic and it gives me code 19 for lock up solenoid ok and it idles bad like if it was the IAC. Now i bought a computer suppose to be a p28 chip and the only code i get in the new computer is code 23( knock senson), but it idles perfect. So my friends has a b16 with a p30 ecu, i put his p30 in my car and no codes i put my ecu the one that chip and he gets code 21 or 31 i forgot.

So can someone help me and also i wanna know if the d16 i got has a knock sensor? thanks a lot for any info.

P28'S don't use knock sensors AFAIK, so the chip that you purchased may be looking for that when it's not there.

if you have a chipped p28 usually it eliminates knock sensor

That only depends on the program that is on the chip. Not all of them disable the knock sensor..

Plain and simple, NO the P28 will not support knock..

YES, the P30 WILL support knock. All the DOHC Vtec ecu's will support knock.

NO, your engine does not have a knock sensor.

YES, the chip you are trying to use is looking for the knock sensor.

Do you want to sell that automatic P28? Let me know
