new here new teg
hello im new here as you can see. i've been around looking for forums and i've seemed to found a few nice ones this one is very nice too. i have just bought a 1996 integra gsr for $2,500 yes thats right and no it doesn't have close to even 100,000 miles on it in fact it only has 68,xxx but there is a catch to this very cheap gsr it is a gsr shell but whats under the hood you won't believe. its an early 90's sohc non v-tec civic motor. don't believe me look at my cardomain site http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/831329
its cheap but needs a little work. if any one can help me find parts and stuff it would be great i would like to put it back the way this thing was made so any help would be nice thank you.

nah...turbo the D. same power output as a b18b maybe a b18c1(if you do more work to it). lighter weight up front and more room to work with under the hood. i think it would be kinda cool. i've thought about it for my DA...d-series motors are cheap as hell.
edit: talk to Kendall...he had a D in his ITR for a while with the anticipation of a K-series swap, which didn't work out.

you should probably educate yourself more about the car before attemping a project like this or making statements like these...

Yes another Wisconsin guy! haha Welcome to H-T. But I think its a shame when you see gsr's with a smaller motor such as a b16 swapped in them, unless its temporarily. I would say just put a new gsr motor in it (a jdm spec if possible) and then work on that. Do you really wanna take the chance of spending $2000 on something that somebody you don't even know put together? If you want than go for it but thats just my opinion.
Btw: Wisconsin does have smog tests. Biggest pain in da ***.
