It seems the picture has vanished. I'm using hondata s200, and that was a dyno jet dyno. I wish I would've put a bigger piston now. Oh well life goes on.

Couldn't have said it better. Stock GSR cams have piston to valve issues, I'd invest in some pistons (and possibly some new valves) as soon as possible.

Homemade Valve Reliefs :: HAHA! This car has been run to death 50 plus dyno runs, and many times at the track. I'm not bragging or anything, but it's my workhorse. The RSX is my weekend car I drive this car to work 4 days a week.

ummmmmm.....no. gsr cams are fine with stock b20 valve reliefs. actually, b20's are fine with ITR's as long as you don't **** with the cam timing.

I've got whatever the stock compression is for a jdm b20b block. So, would a better header .. that rhymes benefit even though i've got crap for compression.
Also, i've been looking at these diy itb setups and wondering.

Are the B20Z pistons ok to use with GSR cam (assuming no cam timing changes). I am under the impression that the B20B is a lower compression engine, so smaller dome on the pistons, so I can see how that would be ok, but what about the B20Z?

Either way, it's a scary thought, so just buy cheap pistons. Stock rods work great. (=

good job on the build, for the creator of this thread.

I'm currently running a B20Z bottom with a b16a head milled .02" with `98 gs-r cams and it's running great. tuning hopefully soon with a couple more goodies.
