Warped Front Rotors & Bad Wheel Bearings...???
92 Accord with 150k miles
I've heard that removing front rotors is a PITA and that it's best to have them resurfaced while on the car. I got a quote for that of $155. $185 with new pads. DAYUM!! I'd hate to spend that much and then have them warp AGAIN (which has happened to me on other cars) in a couple months. I can replace the rotors for that much, can't I?? Maybe even some better aftermarket rotors. But then I'd have to do the work myself...
I've also got bad wheel bearings in the front. They quoted $150 labor per side, plus parts. I haven't checked on wheels bearings yet...
Don't the rotors have to come off to do the wheel bearings?? If that's the case, I should buy new pads, rotors, and wheel bearings and have a shop replace them all at the same time. Or tackle it myself.
Thoughts?

You can replace the rotors without replacing the bearings. That is for sure. But f... rotors are PITA!!!
I have tried to replace my left front rotor (90 accord) - 0 result. I went and bought whole used knuckle for 30$. But if you want quality ride you'd better try to replce the old rotors with the new ones.
You can try to do it, but if they are original there, they should be really rusted and hard to remove.
Good luck!

They're definitely original!!
They have to be removed to replace the wheel bearing though, don't they?
It may be best to buy all the parts and take them to a shop and let them F with them...

if you have a shop replace wheel bearings they should not charge you any extra to replace rotors at same time .. they have to come out to replace bearings it is just a matter to put new ones in..
like you said get the parts yourself and take it to shop ,,brembo rotors are good, but use honda pads . whhel bearings non factory are ok..
