Default Undertail Exhaust Heat Shield

I have a 2005 Honda CBR600RR. I just replaced my stock exhaust with a Micron exhaust, replaced the lisence plate holder, and I am planning on integrating my blinkers into the tail light. I want to take off all the plastic crap in the back of the bike to open it up, but if I do that my heat sheild above the exhaust would still show. Are there any kits I can add or mods I can do? I put on a carbon fiber exhaust so it doenst get too hot, so can i cut the heat sheild?

I never put a heat sheild on my bike when i switched my pipe. It's not goign to get hot enough to melt the plastics underneath.

it you really want to clean up the back of the bike i suggest these

I put it on mine and love it.

I already have it on order and it should be on my bike by the end of the week

So... should I just take off the stock heat shield that goes over the silencer and part of the connecting pipes? or ... what?
