You only had it for a week. They should be set at 8 (front and rear) for a few weeks for them to break in/settle properly.

As for setting it for autocross/street, play around with it. Find the setting that you like. I had mines at 13 front and 10 rear on the street.

You should get your car corner weighed to get the best out of the coilovers.

Corner weighing gets the best out of your Teins. It balances the weight in all four corners (wheels). If you track/auto-x your car, you should get that done.

The instruction manual said 8 front and 8 rear. I guess 10 isn't bad if you don't drive it too hard within the first few weeks.

for the street you want to run whatever you're comfortable with. for a/x or any real driving you'll likely want to set the rears much stiffer than the fronts. the spring rates on the SS are so fucked up that without changing springs, the best you can do is bias the stiffness to the rear to prevent the car from understeering.

so, i guess i'd set the fronts at like 6 and the rears at 15 or something. i know the adjustment **** doesn't do much in the way of real force vs. time variation but it's a place to start.

when i'm tuning my koni's i generally start at full soft in front and close to full stiff in rear and make adjustments until it's right.
