Default Vtec Malfuntion????? P1259

Hey people, my ECU is given me this code p1259, it says that is a VTEC malfuntion, but the only thing that I change to this car is take the CAT out (of course the ECU also said that), and connect the VAFC, so if someone can tell me what can produce this code please let me know. The car is a Honda Civic, 2000 year, SI, Coupe, with the B16A2, USA version, and the f.....OBDII system (I hate this system). Well I am ready to listen what you have to say....By the way I DO KNOW MY ENGLISH IS NOT SO GOOD, so please be nice and understand that I live in a country that speak spanish THANKS.....

VTEC Oil Pressure Signal.

Vtec Equipped cars must have at least 55 psi of oil pressure to engage in vtec.

Thanks to everybody to try to help, like in all the world always we find persons that only try to jogs about what you are trying to said.

By the way can be the oil level, because it was just a little bit down from the normal level. But any way I will try to find wich wire to use to plug the VTM from the VAFC. If someone knows please tell me the color.
