So my JDM conversion is ready for paint and Im still debating on leaving the hood all carbon fiber, or just painting outside the bodylines on the hood to match the rest of the car. Im sure you all know the look im talking about. If I need to search for a pic I will (or someone else can). Which does everyone think will look better?

what color is your car? Or should i say what color are u planning on painting your car? Personally i'll leave the hood the way it is but it depends on the color some car just looks cleaner with everything painted the same as the car. Also bump for u for having the same name as my cousin

Are you kidding me? Why would anyone with even a hint of taste consider not painting a carbon hood? It's mandatory if you want your want to fully exploit the advantage of a quality carbon hood; the clean lines, low profile and weight savings.
If you're into drawing undo attention to your car because of a half assed trend to not paint parts that need to be painted, then leave it as is. Hell, as far as I'm concerned, that's no different then your average APC ricer leaving his Pep Boys bumper primer yellow...
This is a choice that would easily make your car stand out because of your attention to detail. Everyone else leaves their hood unpainted, but it's so easy to be "different" by doing what should be done in the first place...

Thats sounds like an excerpt from "Queer eye for the straight guy, car edition".
Ssssuper!!
I say, either paint the whole thing, or dont paint it at all.

Opinions are like ********. Everyone has one, and none are more valid than the next. Style is subjective, so please stop trying to objectify it.

leave it IMO.
But its your car, when it boils down its what you want, not what we want. I left mine CF cause I like it. and if I had painted it, it would have been cause I liked the painted look, not cause the CF look was "played out" or anything like that.
