Default Question about B series and D series OBD0 engine harnesses.

Anyone know if I can use an OBD0 B-Series engine wiring harness on an OBD0 D series motor? Thanks!

I would hazard to guess that if the D series harness works with the B series motor, it would work the other way around as well. I'm probably overlooking something obvious though, someone else clue me in?
