i forgot to specify, you need to use goo gone and a relatively abbrasive rag. dont get a smooth cotton rag, something to rough up the sticky crap. the goo gone will takeit all off. piece of cake a promise. its what you need. ive done it several times.

they even sell it at the grocery store.

Where do you buy steel wool? I used to get some from my work but I don't know where they're sold.

I have done this... use emonia and a blade, keep it wet so you do not scratch the windows. The windows can take quite a bit of scraping when wet just dont gouge it with the corner of the blade I used a puddy knife made the job go quickly. Mix the emonia with a little water in a spray bottle. I didnt do my rear window because of the defrost lines but its hard to tell that it wasnt done. keep it wet- Dustin

when i did my rear window i first wiped it with paper towels with laquer thinner on it. which desolved the glue right away. i ran out of thinner so i used nail polish remover to clean up the streaks. then washed the windows real good with glass cleaner. no scraping and no damage to defroster. just where gloves. good luck

ok i think some and most of your are reading this wrong. the deal is there was masking tape on my tinted windows. i still want to keep my tint but remove the crap from the masking tape without messing up the tint. so in other words i need to get the sticky stuff of my tint.
