After I changed out my stock OBD0 intake manifold to a JG Sheetmetal there was no room for the FITV or IACV anymore. I have had made an adaptor plate for the IACV and I use an OBD2 from a CRV now. My car won't idle when it's cold because of the missing FITV I guess but how are OBD2 cars without a FITV then able to idle when it's cold? I converted to OBD1 and use Hondata and thought about if my tuner can tune out my idle problem with the IACV settings in Hondata? It sucks to live in Denmark with the cold weather we have most of the time without a FITV.

I have had my car for 2 years with no FITV, it idles kinda shitty in cold weather like 20 degrees F and lower, and it never idles higher than like 1200rpm, Not sure if I'm much help, but your car will run w/o one

Since you're using an OBD-1 ECU it isn't telling the IACV to raise the idle. (I don't know if it's possible to add that function with Hondata.)
