Default My Planned setup

What do ya'll think about this?
b16 Block
Oversized p30 pistons
shotpeened b16 rods & ACL bearings
b16 crank
S2-s2 cams and gears
Omni valves
Portflow dual springs and Ti retainers
Bronze valve guides
Ported tb to 64mm
Port matched IM
8.5lb flywheel
Will be tuned with uberdata(p28)

Do ya'll think this is a good set up?
Please give me some feedback!!

If you oversize your pistons...don't you need to bore the cylinder wall more then factory to acomidate the larger pistons?

Yes im still trying to figure out how much it needs to be bored. No one has really given me a good answer, soo..Im just gonna get the pistons and take it all to a machine shop and let them decide. I think its .01 inches or .25mm??

I would go with CTR pistons instead of P30....

Nothing that hasn't been done before. Consider using an ITR intake manifold instead of a B16 one. With those cams you could use the extra flow. Also look into doing something about the compression and you may want to look into some headwork.

Yea I would go with these also...it will bump up your compression very nicely

Well i was gonna go with CTR pistons but ive heard so much bad stuff about them like small quench area and bad flow over the piston. But im not plannin on making a whole lot of power so i guess they'll be fine.

In an LS motor with b16 head PCT(b16b) pistons will raise the compression to about 13:1

That's a bit too high and you will need to run 94 ocatane and retard your timing a good amount.

IMO after looking through about your setup the oversized P30 pistons you have should do good work

I would just throw a set of PCT or CTR piston in her and go with the rest of the build
