Default mini me setup....will my budget build be fast enough to run 14's? inputs appreciated.

-1990 CRX Si D16A6 stock bottom end (120,000 miles)
-1998 Ported and Polished, 3 angle valve job D16Y8 complete cylinder head assembly.
-D16Y8 head gasket
-1998 GSR B18C1 bored out throttle body (64mm)
-Match ported intake manifold
-Blox Racing Stage 2 Camshaft
-1990 CRX Si transmission
-act 6 puck clutch with lightweight flywheel
-3 inch cold air intake system
-megan racing 4-2-1 stainless steel header
-rc engineering 310cc injectors
-zdyne ecu
-aem cam gear
-b&m fuel pressure regulator
-2.25 inch test pipe w/ thermal r&d catback exhaust system

All this will be in a 1989 Honda CRX DX model with full interior. What do you guys think of this setup? Good enough for 14's? Any and all suggestions are welcomed. Thanks!

Thats a nasty little single cam setup. Espicially tuned with Zdyne.. You should see low 14's with some bigger injectors easy.

I know this might be a little off and out there.....
But as far as your Reving goes......I was thinking....

New retainers and valve springs....on the valves... If you increase the RPM allowance....does that straighten out your power band? <---trying to get more technical with my own knowledge....so i'm just asking.

So....increase the RPM limit by adding stronger/lighter....retainers/springs on the valvetrain= straighter power band= better times for the drag?

Is that right? Just wondering.....I saw all the work you had planned to do with the valvetrain and wondered if the stuff i just mentioned was thought of....again.....can't wait for pics.....
